Double Down? Nyet!

BUD:

Although Moose and Bjorn were likely distraught over the new internet gambling laws in the U.S., at least they don't live in Russia. Somehow, getting the fellas together for a bachelor party in Siberia doesn't hold the same appeal.

Ken Burns' Next Project: Beer Pong

BUD:

According to this article, someone is doing a documentary on beer pong and has determined that the game originated at Dartmouth. Take that, Todd.

I like the cautious fraternity brother (and the administrator, for that matter) who is wary of being "Borated." It's a sad world we are living in where you can't have a few beers and film a documentary about a drinking game without the risk of making a fool of yourself.

Turns out plaintiffs lawyers go to lame law schools and big corporate lawyers go to top 25 schools.

Why, do you think? Easy answer is corporate practice is where the money seems to be on graduation. But if the real money is in successful trial practice (I'll float that without supporting it), why would not a successful, top 25 graduate move into trial practice after paying off student loans? Answer suggested in the above link is that classic smart law students lack the skills to be successful trial lawyers (and maybe visa versa).
