Boise State v. Oklahoma

I actually turned this game off with a minute left. Boy did I miss a hell of a game. Of course with YouTube, I didn't need to watch the game.

This is a perfect example of why I love living on the West Coast for watching sports. At 10:00 pm you are willing to finish watching the game. At 1:00 am, you say, "enough already," and just go to sleep.

I can't think of another game that I've seen with an ending as amazing as that. Seriously, that hook and lateral on 4th and 18 with a few seconds left was right up there with the Cal-Stanford band finale.

Moose, you in particular will be disappointed to hear about the other fireworks that you missed. During the postgame interview with BSU runningback Ian Johnson, he proposed to his girlfriend, the head cheerleader. I always thought Doug should have done that with Christine after a big 1L Express win.

Here's my nitpick. Take a good look at Boise State's OT TD. The QB motions away from the shotgun formation and toward the near sideline. But he never gets set and is actually moving toward the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped (a la Canadian Football). That should be illegal motion and Boise State should've gotten sent back 5 yards.

And you don't think Boise State had another trick play ready? Why do you gotta nitpick? Too many Americans on Boise State? Bad for business?
