Anti-Internet Gambling Bill

LIL BART

Is anyone as worried about this thing passing as I am. It basically updates the wire act to include internet poker. I have never been very political in the past nor really cared about what laws congress passes - but this one really pisses me off. In has affected me so much that I honestly do not think I will ever vote for another Republican again (save McCain who doesn't count). Honestly, the Christian right has completetely taken over this frickin' party. I am sick of evertyone picking their representatives based on that persons morality. Most of the most moral people I know are idiots - you know why. Because their morality prevents them from doing things that could get them in trouble. Accordingly, they have never had to think on their feet about how to get out of trouble. Because their brain doesn;t have to exert itself, it atrophies thus making them a moran. Seriously, think about it. Why do you think Clinton (who I didn't particulary care for) did such a decent job running the country. That guys brain was probably working non-stop throughout his whole life.

P.S. - I love my little roster link.

Bart is entirely in the right. This "law"is the biggest crock of shit. There are Indian casinos in nearly every town. The government runs the freaking lottery.

The nannyism in the GOP is pathetic. If they would go more libretarian in social issues, go small government/market based solutions, cut and run from the thinly-veiled racisim (I'm looking at you Confederate flag), cut taxes, and stay tough (but competent) on defense, they would be well positioned to take over middle of the road Democrats like me.

Wasn't the GOP suppose to be the party of limited government - it seems just the opposite to me. I am really disenchanted with them. I firmly beleive that the religious right has truly destroyed them for me. I believe this as much of an indictment of the Democrats as well. How in blue hell did they think that Kerry was their best canidate. Honestly, this guy was a disaster. Why can't either party put up a moderate. Why are they so tied to the extreme of their party.

One more thing - If anyone votes for Cranley for representative, I will personally shit in the middle of their living room. I hate that guy - hate him.

I have to tell you, I've met Chabot while doing some lobbying. This guy is the dimmest of dim-bulbs; a total "party line" guy. He would have made a great Nazi.
