I agree with Bid, Moose's picks for shows are outdated and boring. Even I grew bored with Lost. All the other shows are like vanilla in a land of, well, vanilla. I too like the Office. I also like How I Met Your Mother. Best line:
Barney "You'll love her. She's beautiful and has great breasts. She's a triple threat."
Ted "That's only two."
Barney "Count again."

WHAT???? "Rescue Me" is dated? "Lost" is vanilla? "Colbert Report" is dated?
These are three of the most original shows on television. "Rescue Me" has bascially never been done. "Lost" is the first of it's kind and it spawned about 5 imitators last year. CR is also original. There has never been a show like it. (BTW, Don't say "TDS." TDS plays its jokes for laughs, while CR plays it straight and the laugh is the parody.
And, my god, you two offer as alternatives....
"How I met Your Mother" and "Pimp My Ride"!!!
You have to be joking. This is clearly done to get a rise out of me. I mean for god sakes. That breast joke has been used in every "Guy movie" for the last 20 years.
Do yourself a favor -- watch CR for two straight weeks. I gurantee you'll like it better than even TDS. If you don't I'll personally return your money.
The only credible alternative that you offer is "The Office," which is clearly a good show. (Of course in terms of originality --- ummMMM it's a DIRECT RIP-OFF OF A UK SHOW!!!)

I can't believe you are arguing with me. I've watched the shows and they bore me. Rescue me seems to be the same story line everytime. Denis is on the brink of losing it. Someone is cheating with someone. Look a fire! Yawn
No I agree with you that Pimp My Ride should be put down like a dog with a bad hip. And Sweet Sixteen makes me physically sick. Not only because of the spoiled brats on the show but also because kids watch the show an emulate them. Sad. Very sad.
